Finally, the last month of winter!! Seems this year has been a lot colder than previous winters.

REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE FINALISTS
Another proud moment in my Real Estate Career happened when Ashlee Murray & Timothy Stapleton opened envelopes this month stating they were finalists in the Property Management Awards for Real Estate Institute NSW. Both Property Managers have loads of ability for their age & are thirsty for knowledge in their careers, they are both worthy of an award of this status – Contact some of our landlords & I am sure they would be able to support why they are both finalists. There are only 4 finalists – Two from Sydney Agencies, quite a remarkable achievement from our Independent Agency when you have a look at 1000’s of agencies in NSW who are members of the REI.

DALLAS MOUNTFORD
Dallas has just taken a position in the Sales team & brings 5 years Real Estate experience from the competitive Newcastle Real Estate Market in Property Management & Sales. Dallas, born & bred in Bellbird has ‘embraced’ his new position with Listing & sales in just a couple of weeks. Dallas is available anytime to discuss how we can design a specialist package to achieve the highest price for your property.

RUN THE BRIDGE
Further committing our support to raising money for Autism awareness, Ellise McDonald, her partner Matt & myself have entered the Sydney Running Festival on the 21st September in the 9km category. Donations can be made on line via one of the following links:

Or at our office – Anytime. We are aiming at raising $3,000 for ASPECT – Hunter Area, I know everybody is always after donations for it seems anything these days but I assure you this is a very worthy cause!!!

MARKET OVERVIEW
The market is still buoyant with activity in the Residential sector, genuine interest for homes under the $250,000 price range from first home Buyers remains strong. I am starting to see investors gradually purchase – with two sales last month of 1400m2 corner sites both with homes that present multiple development opportunities.
